StatSheet is projecting Wyoming to make the NIT as a five seed. The Cowboys are #60 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 15-5 overall record and a 2-5 record in the Mountain West.

During its last four games, Wyoming notched a quality win against AP #22 San Diego State but also struggled mightily with losses to AP #20 New Mexico and RPI #71 Air Force.

Wyoming is stable against strong competition, with a 2-4 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-2 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-1 record against AP ranked teams. While the Cowboys have two quality wins including AP #22 San Diego State and RPI #18 Colorado, they're also dinged with a bad loss to RPI #154 Fresno State.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Virginia Commonwealth (17-5, 5-2 A-10, StatRank #42), Memphis (17-3, 6-0 C-USA, StatRank #46), Indiana State (14-7, 7-3 Missouri Valley, StatRank #36), and Villanova (13-8, 4-4 Big East, StatRank #54).

The first four teams out are Alabama (12-7, 4-2 SEC, StatRank #68), Brigham Young (16-6, 6-2 West Coast, StatRank #46), Maryland (15-6, 3-5 ACC, StatRank #70), and Rutgers (12-8, 3-6 Big East, StatRank #66).
